The junior section started off initially as an after school class, for local primary school pupils in P5-7. As time moved on and more players arrived through the door, it was then made into an official club session once a week for under 13s. As demand grew for the sport, a second session was launched.
These sessions are on:
Junior U11 Sessions: Mondays, 5.30pm - 7pm, Allan Centre (BofA)
Junior U13/U15 Sessions: Thursdays, 6.30pm - 8pm, Allan Centre (BofA)
Junior U17 Sessions: Thursdays, 7.30pm - 9pm, The Peak

Stirling Netball Club provides a pathway for junior members to trial for Forth Valley District Squads with Central Netball Association. This is part of Netball Scotland's District calendar to help develop pathways for younger players to get to the highest level they can in netball. The club proudly currently has 10 members as part of the Forth Valley district programme: https://www.centralnetballassociation.co.uk/fv-district.html.
It's not about being perfect. It's about being persistent & resilient. Because your drive to succeed as a team is too strong to being anything less.
I have supported Stirling Netball Club since it established back in 2015. It's been fantastic to see the club grow from strength to strength from starting as a bounce back session, to now a club with a thriving senior league section, a popular junior section of U13s, U15s and U17s, and still continuing their bounce back programme, as well as supporting Active Stirling's walking netball programme.
Sport is my passion, and for anyone who doesn't know... I love netball!
So I am excited to keep supporting the club through my role at Active Stirling, but also support as junior coordinator. I'm hoping I can continue the success the club has achieved and to help give the young members of Stirling Netball Club the chance to strive for success, and reach their full potential for netball.
I've been with the club since it was first established and have held various roles on the committee for the past 3 years. This year I have taken on the position of Vice Chair and to coach our juniors. I joined the club after moving to Stirling in 2015 and after the birth of my second child. It was a great way to improve my fitness, both physically and mentally and make friends. I started on Wednesday's playing socially, and in 2018 decided to play competitively moving to a Monday night and competing in the CNA league with the Stirling Sonics. I love playing every week with a great group of women. I'm excited to support and mentor our juniors, watch them grow, establish friendships and develop a lifelong love of netball.
